Search Terms
A name or place entered in a search tool is sent to the third party that operates that tool. Churchill County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages
An email or contact submission may be retained long enough to answer it and manage the exchange. It is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Technical Visit Data
Normal web systems may record limited technical information when a page loads, including:
- Internet Protocol address;
- browser name and version;
- device class and operating system;
- pages viewed and time spent;
- the referring site, when supplied; and
- date and time stamps.
Cookie Controls
Cookies can help measure how visitors use the site. A browser may be set to reject them, although blocking cookies can change how some features behave.
Purposes for Data Use
Collected data is used only for routine operation and improvement of the service.

Other Websites and Advertising
Links point to release records, sheriff and corrections pages, government portals, and outside search tools. Once a visitor follows a link, the destination's privacy policy governs the visit.
Some advertising companies may track activity across sites to select ads. That tracking occurs through their systems and is controlled by their own policies.

Personal data is not sold. It may be processed by a limited set of recipients:
- search partners that handle submitted queries;

This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian may contact us to request deletion if a minor submitted information.
